The controversy over the temple-mosque in Varanasi is very old. But the controversy that happened today has only been 8 months. According to the case, what did 5 women petition in the local court regarding regular worship in the Gauri Shringar temple on the wall of Gyanvapi Masjid and what did the court order for the survey. The commotion broke out. Because when the committee reached the spot for video graphic survey today, the local Muslim community present on the occasion of Friday started protesting.
Slogans started on the spot. The survey team found it difficult to reach the mosque. But after a lot of effort in the midst of this hustle and bustle, the team was able to reach the mosque. This uproar over the measurement of Gyanvapi Masjid was in a very harsh manner. It is being told that a team of 31 people are involved in this survey. Shops were closed for security reasons. But a team of court-appointed lawyers in the Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi temple complex has started an investigation under a video-graphic survey.
It is feared that the matter could be sensitive as the management committee of Gyanvapi Masjid in the same area has announced to oppose the decision of the local court. Whose demand was that videography should be confined to the premises of Kashi Vishwanath temple. He also said that no atheist would be allowed to enter the mosque. Here, the district administration is trying to strike a deal with the Intejamia Committee; But the committee is adamant.
According to the information, in the Gauri Shringar Puja case, Varanasi Civil Judge (Senior Division) Ravi Kumar Diwakar on April 26 ordered the Advocate Commissioner of Shringar Gauri Temple to do videography in the Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi Masjid complex and other places. The court had said that the videography should be completed after Eid and before May 10. The court had said that during the survey, apart from the advocate commissioner and the parties, an assistant would also be present. According to the order of the court, the team has gone for the survey.
