The Uttarakhand government is committed to the Chardham Yatra. The preparations for this are going on in full swing. So far more than 1 lakh people have registered for this. Helicopter service for Char Dham Yatra and Kedarnath, which will start on May 3, has already been booked for a month. The enthusiasm of the devotees is visible. So the enthusiasm of the state government is also no less than anyone. This is the reason why the tourism minister of the state is holding review meetings regarding this.
Today, the Tourism Minister of the state, Satpal Maharaj, took an important meeting in the Secretariat regarding the Char Dham Yatra. In which many officials related to tourism, health, PWD and transport were also present. Along with this, the District Magistrates and SSPs of different districts virtually participated in this meeting.
On this occasion, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj emphasized on the Covid guidelines. He said that the arriving passengers must wear a mask. Along with this, all the district magistrates have been directed about the road which is obstructed so that they should make some efforts for this. Because there should be a system to lift the vehicles which are stopped. so that the traffic is not obstructed.
Along with this, he directed that the taxi driver should also be told that he should not misbehave with the devotees coming in any way, do not quarrel with them. He said that the Transport Department should pay attention that buses and roadways taxis should be operated in a better way. Along with this, health facilities should also be good. Coming passengers should not have problems with food and drink.
Apart from this, everyone was appealed that this time the Char Dham Yatra is going to run grandly and everyone’s cooperation is necessary to run it smoothly where the roads are obstructed. JCB should be arranged there and it should be ensured that travel will not be restricted at any cost.
