Out of 425 madrassas running in Uttarakhand, the sword of action is hanging on 182 madrasas, while action can be taken on other madrasas as well. That is, madrasas will now get recognition under the rules of the Uttarakhand Madrasa Board. Minority Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das took a review meeting on Monday regarding the workboard and the madrasas running in Uttarakhand.
After this, he has taken strict action regarding all the irregularities going on in the Waqf Board and Madrasas. After this meeting, when he spoke to the media, Minority Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das said that there are a total of 425 madrasas in Uttarakhand, out of which 192 are run with the help of the state government and the central government. But since these madrassas are not recognized by the education department, these madrassas have to be recognized by the education department.
Otherwise, such madrasas will be closed. Cabinet Minister Chandan Ram Das said that in the first phase only 192 madrassas are being taken action which is run with the help of the state government and central government, after that in the next phase the rest of the madrassas also have to take permission in this regard from the education department.
Apart from this, Cabinet Minister Chandan Ram Das also made a big statement on the happening of Waqf Board lands and said that these lands will be tested and whoever is occupying Waqf Board lands. Strict action will be taken against them, and he said that these lands will be thoroughly investigated and their measurement will also be done.
