The demand for a judicial inquiry into the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala has been accepted. The Punjab Chief Minister has announced setting up a judicial commission headed by a sitting high court judge to probe the killing of Moose Wala. Earlier, Moose Wala’s family had said that they would not cremate the body until a judicial inquiry was ordered into the matter. Moose Wala’s last rites are being performed today after the demand for a judicial inquiry was accepted.
