Congress is ready to rise once again to blunt the edge of the BJP’s sharp victory march in the country. Congress President Sonia Gandhi is once again trying hard to express her full commitment to the revival of the Congress party. It is reported that for this she has chosen the country’s election strategist Prashant Kishor and once again PK’s entry into Congress is being considered fixed. This news is burning like a fire in the media corridors. If the ‘spark’ of Prashant Kishor flares up, then Congress may once again rise to give a fight to the BJP.
This discussion is also being done because recently senior party leaders and election strategist Prashant Kishor had a meeting with Congress President Sonia Gandhi. It is also reported that just three days after this meeting, once again on Monday, she again met Prashant Kishor. Several senior Congress party leaders were also present in this meeting. Many important issues were discussed in the meeting which lasted for about five hours.
Priyanka Gandhi was also present at the meeting;
According to reports, a meeting was held on Monday at 10 Janpath, the residence of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Chidambaram, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal and Randeep Surjewala were also present. Once again Prashant Kishor outlines his plans for the party. If sources are to be believed, Sonia Gandhi will soon take a decision on whether Prashant Kishor will join the Congress or not. On the other hand, Sonia Gandhi will take the final decision regarding them. This is the reason why since the last four days, on Tuesday also the third meeting of Congress was held at 10 Janpath.
Will Prashant Kishor join the Congress?
With Prashant Kishor’s meeting with Sonia Gandhi twice within 3 days and his ever-increasing activities, it is being speculated that he may join the Congress party soon. He has also been offered. The party wants to use him not only as its strategic leader but also as its leader. The party has also informed him about this.
Preparing for 2024 Elections:
It is being said that Congress has started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. Prashant Kishor presented the complete plan in his first meeting on Saturday. He asked Congress to focus on 270 Lok Sabha seats. Apart from this, it has been suggested to form an alliance on other seats as well. According to the report, Prashant Kishor believes that Congress should not forge an alliance with anyone in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Orissa. Here the party should fight alone. At the same time, Prashant Kishor has suggested the option of states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and West Bengal for an alliance to the party high command.
