Amidst the ever-increasing mercury, the Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of getting relief from the heat on April 13. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain from April 13.
Given the scorching heat, the Meteorological Department has issued an Orange and Red Alert in the state till the 13th. According to the department, soon a western disturbance may knock in Uttarakhand. After which there is a possibility of an increase in temperature in the state in the coming two-three days. Along with this, there is also a forecast of rain in some places of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts on April 13.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no relief in the mountainous areas even on April 11 and 12. There will be a red alert in all the hill districts regarding the scorching heat. The night of April 12 may experience a Western Disturbance in the Western Himalayan region. In this way, on April 13, there may be rain in many parts of the state.
According to the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, the temperature may increase by 2 to 3 degrees in the coming days. The maximum temperature in the plains is expected to go up to 38 to 40 degrees Celsius. Whereas in the mountains above 2000 meters and the surrounding areas, the maximum temperature can go up to 28 to 30 degrees. An increase in temperature can increase the incidence of forest fires. Given this, the Meteorological Department has suggested the local people living near the forests be vigilant.
