He tweeted a video in this regard, in which he is saying, ‘UP has a population of 25 crores. Processions were taken out at 800 places for the procession of Ram Navami. Simultaneously, the month of Ramadan is also going on at this time. Wherever there was no clash in between though. This is showing the new thinking of development in Uttar Pradesh. There is no place for riots here. There is no place for anarchy, hooliganism, and rumors.
Let us tell you that this statement of Yogi Adityanath has come when recent reports of violence came to light from states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and West Bengal on Ram Navami. Two people died in this violence and many people were injured. Arson and violence followed stone pelting on a Ram Navami procession passing through a Muslim-majority part of the city in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. The BJP government of the state has arrested 94 people and started action against those who allegedly pelted stones at the procession.
