Reacting sharply, RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said that while expressing surprise at the statement of CM Nitish Kumar in the Bihar Assembly, he counter-questioned whether the CM is also mentioning the soldiers who drink alcohol? Sharing the video of Nitish’s statement, Tejashwi tweeted in Hindi, “By this logic of Nitish Ji, even Indian soldiers who drink alcohol are not Hindustani. The wicked criminals and the corrupt, who shed rivers of blood in Bihar, are not highly unworthy and great sinners, and alcoholics.
The RJD leader had earlier said in a tweet that the chief minister was “tired and defeated” and now his ally BJP is also realizing it. In fact, on Wednesday, Nitish Kumar gave a speech in the Bihar Legislative Assembly regarding the ban on liquor in the state in 2016. On this occasion, he said that Mahatma Gandhi was also against drinking alcohol and those who did not follow his principles do not deserve to be called Hindustani. He further said- “I do not consider these people to be Indians.”
Actually, the discussion on the Liquor Prohibition Act Amendment Bill was going on in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. It was being mentioned that no relief will be given to the people who have died due to spurious liquor in the state. He said, ‘It’s their fault. They consumed alcohol knowing that it could be poisonous.
