“Abki Baar, Digital Sarkar,” CM Yogi Aditya Nath has approved the computerized lottery selection for the UP minister’s staff.
The newly-elected Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given consent to the more transparent and digital selection of staff and allotment of rooms to the Uttar Pradesh Ministers. The new system will also ensure that this time there is 20 percent, female staff, in general, administration work. The participation of females staffs is done to increase the workforce. The secretariat administration will be allotting personal secretaries, assistant PS, review officers, and assistant review officers with the help of the software so that the staff who have already worked with the minister in the last tenure do not get the chance again. Since the portfolio allotments are complete now, the respective rooms have also been allotted to the ministers to start functioning as soon as possible.
On the contrary, some ministers were apprehensive about the 20 percent quota for women, as the work hours may extend till late at night or may involve sudden travel plans, which according to them was not at all feasible for female workers.
This time arrangements have been made to select the staff in the coded form shortlisted by the software. The name will be in the coded format so that the ministers do not know the real name, religion, and gender of the staff.
