Pushkar Dhami won the losing bet ! What less than a juggler ! Many myths of Uttarakhand has been broken this time. Meanwhile one more myth was broken by BJP by making Pushkar Singh Dhami the chief minister. Myth that one who lives in CM’s residence can not be the CM second time is broken.

Once again Pushkar Singh Dhami is going to swear in as the chief minister of Uttarakhand. Till now Dhami is the youngest chief minister of the state.Pushkar Singh Dhami was sworn in as the chief minister of Uttarakhand in July 2021.Hailing from an ordinary family Dhami rose till CM post.Dhami was born on 16th september 1975 in Tundi village of Didihat tehsil of Pitthoragarh district.Pushkar Singh Dhami’s father was working as a subedar in the army.
Dhami considered Khatima assembly constituency of Udham Singh as his workplace but unfortunately he lost election from here this time.Dhami entered students politics from Lucknow.Dhami’s early education was from village itself. After this his family came to Khatima from where he completed his 12th.He further joined Lucknow university and completed his masters in Human Resourse Management and Industrial Relations.Dhami has also done LLB from Lucknow University.His political career also started from here.Entering BJP through RSS,ABVP Dhami has also served in Rashtriya swayam sewak sangh.Initially he started his political career Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad in 1990. From 1990 to 1999 he worked from district to state to national level while staying in Akhil Bharti Vidyarthi Parishad in different positions.Dhami was twice elected as a president of BJP Yuva Morcha before reaching the post of CM and BJP state president. Maharastra governer Bhagat Singh Koshyari is considered as the political guru of Dhami. When Koshyari was the CM of Uttarakhand, Dhami was the OSD.Presently Dhami is considered close to defense minister Rajnath Singh.
In 2012, Dhami became MLA for the first time, contested election from Khatima and won. He won election from Khatima seat in 2017 also. BJP formed the government but Dhami did not got any post in the cabinet too.However he was suddenly made CM few months before the 2022 elections.
Inspite of losing elections how did DHAMI become CM?
BJP fought elections in 2022 with the face of PM MODI and CM Dhami.The resentment against BJP was seen amongthe people of state before the elections.This was the reason why BJP changed the CM and Dhami was the new CM. So many decisions were taken simultaneously, Dhami’s tenure lasted for 6 months. Dhami succeeded in making favourable environment for BJP in the state, resulting in the victory of 47 seats out of 70.Unfortunately,Dhami lost attention to his Khatima seat and lost the election.
How did DHAMI do political explosion?
Inspite of losing election Dhami was ahead in CM race but many leaders were demanding to elect CM from newly elected MLAs.On the contrary few CMs and MLAs were also in the list.Fortunately Dhami managed to won everyones heart through his hard work and behaviour.He took care of his seniors and kept closeness with other leaders.May be this was the reason for him to get the blessings of high command of his party !
