A survey conducted by LocalCircles has revealed that one out of every three Indians has expressed confidence that the fourth wave of Covid has knocked in the country. There is an increase in the cases of Covid in different parts of the country, but this time the center has become part of Delhi and NCR. Still, three thousand cases of Covid infection are being reported daily in the country, out of which more than 1500 cases are from Delhi-NCR only. Seeing the resurgence of Covid cases, all the states have started imposing some restrictions, such as Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh have made masks mandatory again. Meanwhile, in a survey, one out of every three Indians has expressed confidence that the fourth wave of Covid has knocked in the country.

For the last two weeks, the cases of Covid are increasing again in Delhi-NCR. According to India’s genomic sequencing data released till 16 April 2022, 80 percent of the cases reported so far may be of BA.2.10 and BA.2.12. Many health experts have expressed the apprehension that the BA.2.12.1 sub-variant may be the biggest reason behind the increase in the cases of Covid in Delhi-NCR. Let us tell you that due to this sub-variant in New York, there is an increase in the cases of Covid. The increase in the cases of Covid is raising the question that finally the fourth wave of coronavirus has knocked.

People’s opinion about the onset of the fourth wave in India, in response to which 29 percent said that it is less likely in 2022, while 6 percent believed that it will not come for at least 6 months. In the midst of this, the surprising thing came to the fore that 34 percent of the people believe that the fourth wave has started in the country from April itself. While 13 percent said that it would start in May-June, 7 percent believed that the fourth wave could start in July-August and 4 percent felt that in September-October. However, nine percent had no opinion. The Indians feel that the fourth wave has started in India. A total of 11,563 people gave this answer.

During the second and third wave, most districts in India started reporting daily positive cases as well as deaths, but as the number of cases decreased, most of the states and districts stopped doing so in February this year. When people were asked whether it should be started again, 83 percent of citizens said that the Health Ministry should make it mandatory, while 12 percent are not concerned with it. 5 percent of people did not give their opinion on this. 12,064 were received in response to this question.
The WHO chief has said that many countries are taking Corona lightly and have stopped testing. We have become blind, and are unable to see that the virus is spreading rapidly due to less testing. Do not take the epidemic lightly, otherwise, it can lead to a big danger later.

In a press conference organized by the WHO, a member of the organization, William Rodriguez, has said that the Omicron variant of Corona has caused the most destruction in the last four months. This variant has caused a surge of new cases all over the world.
