Until now the cases of corona in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh were intimidating. But last week 9 other states have created fear of the fourth wave. This includes Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, and Mizoram. According to the data, last week’s cases in Maharashtra 48 percent, Karnataka 71 percent, Tamil Nadu 62 percent, Bengal 66 percent, Telangana 24 percent, 57% more were recorded in Rajasthan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a review meeting with the Chief Ministers of the states on 27 April in view of the rising covid infections in the country. Several officials and senior ministers are also likely to attend the meeting along with PM Modi. The campaign for vaccination and booster dose is also going on.
