In Agra, a huge discussion has started regarding the name of the Agra metro station. The reason is the naming of the metro station to be built near the powerhouse intersection. Which is called Jama Masjid Station. But now the discussion of changing its name is taking shape. The demand for changing this metro station to Mankameshwar station has intensified and now the politics have heated up amidst the possibility of changing the name of this metro station.
Now understand the whole matter. Where did this demand come from, and why is there controversy? Actually, recently Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that this metro station will be named Man Kameshwar. The instructions were given to change the name of the Agra metro station. It is being said that MLA GS Dharmesh suggested changing the name of Jama Masjid station of Agra Metro to Man Kameshwar. After which, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya ordered the officials to implement the suggestion of the MLA.
What did the Deputy CM take cognizance of this, now since then the discussion has started across the city regarding the name of the metro station. At the same time, now Sami Agai says that there is a dispute about the name of Jama Masjid station, so instead of naming it after any religious place, this station should be named Dr. BR Ambedkar station, because Agra is the capital of Dalits.
At the same time, Mahant Yogesh Puri of Mankameshwar Nath Temple says that the proposal to name the station after Mankameshwar Nath is welcomed. He described Agra as the city of Shiva. Said that Shiva is seated at the four corners of Agra and Mankameshwar Nath is in the middle, so it is appropriate to name the station as Mankameshwar station. He said that there should be no politics in this.
But now the controversy has started regarding the name of the metro station. However, this name has not been stamped yet. But the ball of many hosts is in the court of the Metro Station Committee regarding this, so only time will decide whether this station will be named Jama Masjid station or Mankameshwar Nath or something else.
