As fans and family mourn the death of Punjab’s own Sidhu Moose Wala, condolences to the famed Punjabi rapper continue to stream in from India and around the world. Drake, who was close to and fond of Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, has paid particular respect to his late buddy.
Drake, a Canadian rapper, and musician paid another heartfelt homage to the late Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala. On Thursday, the Grammy-winning musician announced the release of a limited-edition Sidhu Moose Wala shirt with the late singer’s visage emblazoned on it. The proceeds from the sales, according to Drake, will go to Moose Wala’s family, who will select where to distribute the money.

For the uninformed, Drake was seen wearing a white T-shirt at a concert in Canada. Sidhu Moose Wala’s face and name were printed on the shirt. “Sidhu Moose Wala 1993-2022,” the writing on the clothing said. Several photographs and videos of Drake wearing the aforementioned T-shirt went popular on social media sites.
“Sidhu Moose Wala (1993-2022). We celebrate your life and influence in India, Canada, and everywhere. Rest in peace to our friend and legend. T-shirt pre-ordering has already begun on Drake’s official website. The T-shirt is available for Rs 5,166 (USD 65) on the Drake’s official website. A day after Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead, Drake expressed grief and paid tribute on social media. “RIP Moose,” he wrote as he shared a photo of the Punjabi artist on Instagram.
Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moose Wala was killed by sharpshooters in an alleged gang war in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29. This came a day after the Punjab Police removed his security, along with 424 others.
